The 90-minute walking tour was filled with his always interesting words and analysis, and loads of murals in one section of Lisbon. He explained to us how to understand what we're seeing, rather than just to "like" it or not. We took us to back alleys we never would have seen on our own, such as the whole street wall covered with work by women artists. We showed us how to 'read' artist rivalries on the works themselves.
