“We walked up to Pena Palace from Sintra on an amazing pathway that took about 40 minutes. It was shaded and well groomed, but all uphill. So beautiful and peaceful. We were there around 9:00 a.m. We also walked from the entrance up to Pena Palace which was maybe a 5 minute walk and not too hard. We opted only for the grounds/outside part and we were completely happy with that. The line to get in the palace is long so be prepared for more waiting. We were able to visit the grounds without a time slot. From Pena, we walked to Castle of the Moors-don’t miss that! Definitely wear…”
