“Great way to see the city. Jorge picked us up at our hotel and although we had more traffic than normal for the day we spent the three hours seeing all areas of the city. Jorge was a great guide and either walked with us to explain where we were and what we were seeing or let us wander for a short time. Gave us options of where to end the tour and directed us to an amazing seafood restaurant for lunch. I will say that whomever sits on the second seat has to hold on tight going up and down all of the hills. It is a little strenuous.…”

“We had an amazing experience on this private Sintra tour with our guide, Manuel. He was incredibly attentive, informative, and personable throughout the day. From start to finish, he made sure the tour was tailored to our interests and comfort. Each stop was thoughtfully chosen, offering beautiful views and fascinating insights into the area's history and culture. The pacing was perfect not rushed, but never dragging. Also, we’re proud to say we didn’t fall for Manuel’s joke about hiking up to the palace with heavy backpacks! Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore Sintra in a relaxed private tour.”

“A fantastic introduction to Madeira. Marco arrived early to show us how the helmet intercoms worked and to ask us what we wanted to see. As this was our 1st visit to the island we said we would be guided by him. As we drove around he explained what we were seeing injecting humour as well. His English was very good and easy to understand. During the trip he took many photos of what we were seeing and of us which were later emailed to us, which was an added bonus. He 1st took us onto the harbour wall so we could see an 'overview' of Funchal. Following that we…”

Review of Madeira’s private Renault 4L tour to Câmara de Lobos, Cabo Girão, and Ribeira Brava, with tips on value, comfort, and timing.

“The day spent on this experience was a game-changing highlight of our visit to Madeira. Our host was kind, gracious, knowledgable, patient, and generous with his time and his many deep insights. Our host speaks excellent English, and utilized a helpful device to amplify his voice, which was important, as the tour was conducted in an open vehicle with a bit of road noise. The experience deepened our understanding of, and appreciation for, Madeira in a way we would not have been able to gain on our own. He added delightful and thoughtful touches to elevate the experience in unexpected ways,, and shared insights and recommendations for places to go…”
